Pine Grove Cottage

About the project

Pine Grove Cottage is a custom-designed country home, developed to match the client's vision and the unique characteristics of a 0.4-acre lot surrounded by pine forest. This two-story brick residence totaling 3,000 sq ft blends modern architecture with the warmth of country living. Floor-to-ceiling windows on both levels provide abundant natural light and open up views of the surrounding woods.

Special attention during construction was given to comfort and energy efficiency. Radiant floor heating with individual temperature controls was installed in every room. The living room features a wood-burning fireplace with natural stone surround, serving as the centerpiece of the first floor. A 430 sq ft terrace off the kitchen and living area provides an outdoor relaxation space during warmer months, sheltered by a cantilevered roof structure.

The finishing touch was a custom landscape design for the entire property, including paved walkways, an outdoor barbecue area, decorative lighting, and plantings that preserve the existing pine trees. The home is equipped with a smart home system, perimeter video surveillance, and motorized gates with remote control.
